The Toaster Oven
The Project
The toaster oven started serving up toasted goodness in November 2005. Since then, they have been cranking out the “best darn sandwich” in the bay area on a daily basis. With five stores and counting they decided it was time to update their website.
What was done
The Toaster Oven website offered the unique challenge of capturing the fun and eclectic style of their physical locations and conveying that same style into their online domain. In the process, I was able to take actual elements of their various stores and recreate digital versions for their website. This combined with various flourishes on the site make for a fun interactive site that captures the branding and creative flair they worked hard to achieve. My work included all graphic design, html programming, CSS styling, JavaScript implementation, and site layout.
